Today I visited the funky Salvador Dali museum in St. Petersburg, FL.
I've officially decided that the ~kimono~ is the perfect piece for traveling. Here's why.
1. It does not wrinkle in your suitcase.
2. It can be dressy or casual.
3. It is the quintessential layering device.
4. It works with almost every outfit, in every season.
5. It's fun to twirl in and makes for sweet pics.
My kimono and I had a great time exploring the Dali Museum. Together, we looked like the perfect art appreciator, the kind of person who totally knew what was going on in all of Dali's paintings.
I'll say that packing a suitcase efficiently and reasonably for a vacation is an art, and now that my kimono and I are a team here, I kind of feel like I've mastered the art of packing for travel. And I'm pretty proud of myself.
I found this awesome kimono in the sweeeeet vintage section of Gladiola Girls' Boutique, so I definitely encourage you to check out both the vintage section and the main shop floor where you can find yourself your own cool kimono friend to pack in your suitcase for your next adventure.
