For some reason I used to be opposed to taking photos in front of garage doors, but now I have decided to embrace the perfect white background.
This really is the epic "hipster" outfit, if you will. I found this retro sweater for three dollars at the thrift store. These pink shorts I cut off from full length Guess jeans, which were only five dollars at the thrift store. I do not really care that much about designer labels and brands, but it still is fun to find some fancy vintage peices occasionally. If something costs less than five dollars I would wear it pretty much regardless of what brand it is. There is so much emphasis placed on designer labels and on brand names in fashion. I don't really care what other people do or wear, but I personally would never wear anything for the sole purpose of showing that I have the money to afford a certain label. I'm not really into using fashion and clothing as a means of perpetuating a social hierarchy or as a means of trying to make other people feel inferior. One of my main goals in life is to show through my own personal style that fashion does not have to be about social status and labels. It SHOULDN'T be about that!!! It should be about "expressing yourself." To define this cliche, it should be about giving the world a preview of your personality and also about feeling confident, of course. Anyway, well here's another picture of my outfit....
