The answer is yes. Infact, HECK yes. Heck yes I wore pants to prom!! I never plan what I'm wearing to dances in advance, but this year I ordered this crop top on Asos (my freaking heaven) and it was two sizes too big but hey my mom's a badass seamstress so it all worked out. The entire night everyone was carrying on about this epic ensemble and I was just like heck yes heckkkk yessss.
with my main babe
because it was really a great idea to take pictures down by the lake, where we are 200% blinded by the sun, when we could've taken such better pics up by the house (in SUBURBIA) but it's fine...
me and my crop top babe at the after party.
dang prom was great.
State was great, as is my random unorganized collection of suburbia modeling shots, loft mirror selfies, Stella McCartney dress pics, mermaid tail shots, and much more probably.
The dang birds woke me up early this morning so why not edit my pics from yesterday with some new vsco filters...
needless to say everyone loved the bubbles at tennis. (Everyone....Tina and mk...the only people who actually went...)
Bubbles. How have I forgotten about them? I'm actually going to CVS in 30 minutes to go get myself some. They're so happy, photogenic, and classically suburban. I thoroughly enjoyed taking pictures with them while walking my dog around the block. Also, this goes without saying, but I can't wait to make my friends take pictures with them too!!!
The heckyesmaclaytennis tshirts I made finally came in. Honestly, this was one of my proudest moments. Seeing thirty people walking around the high school wearing something I created was so awesome. And, I know it was the shirts that helped us get to state.
i assembled my cult in the courtyard for a pic.
also, side note: these white jelly sandals are actually the best!! I'm so glad I found them at banana republic for $8 or whatever. I will definitely wear them all summer long.
this photo. One of my fashion contemporaries, Lanier Hicks, suggested that I take a pic with my team standing in a v behind me. Best idea ever.
gotta love those Stella McCartney dresses ; )
.....waiting anxiously for us to win
a special thank you to our fans :)
as for suburbia, everything's pretty simple and sweet.
Today at sports bra practice, my friends and I (well mainly me) just couldn't get over how awesome the wistaria smells and looks on the trees over by the tennis courts....so another Elspeth forced photo shoot occurred.
This is awesome. I mean this is actually so flipping awesome. I've wanted one of these since I was four... Throwback to second grade!
And now for some behind the scenes footage of my extremely patient parents who photographed me and helped me scoot around in this thing. Gosh that water was freezing, but it was so worth it.
